Save the date: Brewsboro Festival coming to Murfreesboro on Oct. 8

Brewsboro FestivalCan’t make it to the Nashville Beer Festival on Oct. 1? The following weekend, Murfreesboro is hosting its own beer festival, the Brewsboro Festival on Oct. 8.

Ticket pricing and a list of participating breweries are not yet available, but the event will be held at The Avenue in Murfreesboro from 2 to 7 p.m.

Save the Date: Inaugural Nashville Beer Festival coming Oct. 1

The inaugural Nashville Beer Festival,Nashville Beer Festival logo celebrating craft beer and homebrew, will be held Oct. 1 at Riverfront Park.

The festival will be Saturday from 1 to 6 pm., followed by a concert Saturday night.

There will also be a kickoff event that Friday night, Sept. 30. The Nashville Breweries VIP Event, tentatively scheduled for Riverfront Park, will highlight Nashville area breweries and their beers.

General admission tickets for the festival are $30 and will be available August 1. VIP tickets, which will include entrance to the festival, concert and Friday kick-off, are $50.

About 3,000 to 5,000 people are expected to attend.

A list of participating commercial breweries for the festival is not yet available. The Bluff City Brewers & Connoisseurs, Memphis’ homebrew club, will be sending homebrewers.

The festival is a benefit for the newly formed Tennessee Brewers Advocacy Group, dedicated to promoting and working for breweries and distributors in Tennessee. The festival will also benefit the Tennessee Wildlife Federation.

Tickets selling fast for 10th annual Music City Brewer’s Festival in Nashville

Music City Brewer's FestivalThe 10th annual Music City Brewer’s Festival in Nashville is coming up July 30.

Tickets for Session B, which runs from 6 to 10 p.m., are already sold out.

There are still tickets available, however, for Session A, which runs from noon to 4 p.m. Tickets are $35, plus tax, and can be purchased online.

The event takes place at the Music City Walk of Fame Park, on the lawn of the Hilton Nashville Downtown Hotel, and features beer from local, regional, national and international breweries.


Memphis Brewfest tickets go up in price this weekend (Brewery list included)

Memphis Brewfest Ticket

Tickets for the 2nd annual Memphis Brewfest craft beer festival at AutoZone Park on April 16 go up in price this weekend, so get yours soon.

Advanced tickets for the festival are $36 and can be purchased online. On Sunday, the price goes up to $39. Festival organizers expect the event to sell out. A total of 2,000 tickets will be sold. I’ll be there thanks to a complimentary ticket from Memphis Brewfest.

More than 140 different beers will be poured at the festival, which will take place in the courtyard of AutoZone Park, 200 Union Avenue, at the corner of Third St. and Union Ave.

Net proceeds from the festival benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy and the Memphis Redbirds Foundation.
