Ghost River Brewing releasing seasonal Honey Wheat in bottles

April 10, 2015 By: mike Category: Breweries, Craft beer, Memphis

Ghost River BrewingMemphis’ Ghost River Brewing is releasing its seasonal Honey Wheat ale in bottles.

Honey Wheat is Ghost River’s third beer in bottles and first seasonal to come off the Downtown brewery’s bottling line. The beer was bottled this week, so it should be hitting shelves soon.

Here’s Ghost River’s description of the beer: “Ghost River Honey Wheat is a play on a traditional American wheat beer, enhanced with locally sourced honey and sweet orange peel. The result is a slightly sweet beer with an inviting golden hue and a palette teasing note of orange on the finish.”

Ghost River Golden Ale and Riverbank Red, both year-round beers, are also available in bottles. Ghost River started bottling the Golden Ale back in the winter of 2011, just as the Memphis beer scene started to come to life.

  1. Ghost River is bottling these golden bubbles up. That’s fantastic news. Are these gonna be seasonal as well. I’m supposing so. But it would be nice to see them in the cooler within reach.

  2. I’m a huge fan of honey wheat, so can’t wait to have a bottle from Ghost River! Too bad it’s seasonal, it’s always a treat.

  3. Is the Ghost River seasonal Honey Wheat out yet? Really want to try it! Thanks!
