On Saturday, tens of thousands of people will converge on Midtown for the annual Cooper-Young Festival.

Memphis Made Brewing Co., which calls Cooper-Young home, will be throwing its own party in the brewery’s parking lot, 768 S. Cooper, to coincide with the neighborhood festivities.

The inaugural “Cooper York Festival” — Memphis Made sits at Cooper and York, just down the road from Young — will feature games, food and craft brews from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“We’ll have Lucid Kolsch and Soulful Ginger, plus we’re brewing up an IPA with some New Zealand hops,” said Memphis Made’s Andy Ashby.

The event will feature food from Central BBQ and (soon-to-be-neighbor) Aldo’s Pizza Pies and games like Giant Jenga and corn hole. In addition, Memphis Made will be selling merchandise such as t-shirts, glasses and onesies.

Finally, there will be a Memphis Grizzlies-supported basketball art show, “No Easy Buckets: A Celebration of Art and Basketball,” presented by Double Scribble, as well as a pop-up basketball court and Grizz Gear.

So if you’re headed to Cooper-Young Saturday, be sure to stop at Cooper-York…
