Nashville’s Yazoo Brewing is turning 8 and throwing a party

September 07, 2011 By: mike Category: Breweries, Craft beer, Events

Yazoo Family Picnic Nashville’s Yazoo Brewing Company, which opened for business in October 2003 in the old Marathon Motorworks building in Nashville, is about to mark its eighth year in operation.

To celebrate, Yazoo is throwing a party, so mark your calendars.

The Yazoo Family Picnic on Oct. 1 will feature live music, food trucks and maybe even a special birthday brew or two.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Yazoo brewery, 910 Division Street, from 2 to 11 p.m. Music starts at 6. Food and beer is pay-as-you-go.

If you’ve never been to the brewery, it’s definitely worth checking out. Here’s an earlier post from when I toured the Yazoo brewery this summer.
