Tickets are on sale for the next installment of Zoo Brew, which is coming up May 25 at the Memphis Zoo. The craft beer tasting event, which is a fundraiser for the zoo, will be held that Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m.

General admission tickets are $30 for Zoo members and $35 for non-members. And for the first time, you can buy V.I.P. tickets to the event for $50 for Zoo members and $55 for non-members.

V.I.P. tickets include entry into the Dino Lounge, which features complimentary appetizers and exclusive brews made specifically for Zoo Brew. You’ll also get to meet brewers from Red Brick Brewing, Ghost River Brewing, Yazoo Brewing Company and Mendocino Brewing Company. The lounge opens at 6:30 p.m. and closes at dusk.

The next Zoo Brew craft beer tasting event at the Memphis Zoo is coming up Sept. 2, and presale tickets are available starting today.

Zoo members can buy tickets now before they go on sale to the general public on July 22. Tickets are $30 per person (limit 4 per household) and must be bought over the phone or in person. To purchase over the phone, call 901-333-6572.

Samples of more than 100 different beers will be poured at the next Zoo Brew.

If you miss tonight’s Zoo Brew at the Memphis Zoo (or if you just like drinking with animals), head on down to the Fourth Annual Brew at the Zoo in Atlanta. Tickets run $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers if you get them online by midnight tonight. Tomorrow they’ll be $45. The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. tomorrow.

Those tickets get you unlimited sampling of a variety of beers and wines; up-close-and-personal encounters with the animals; and rides on the train and carousel. There will also be music and other entertainment.

The event supports care for the zoo’s rare reptiles.

Volunteers are still needed for Zoo Brew, the craft beer tasting event at the Memphis Zoo next week.

The festival needs friendly volunteers who are 21 and over to help pour beer. If you’re interested, email Terry, who’s the volunteer coordinator, and send her your name and phone number.

The event, which is a fundraiser for the zoo, is Friday, May 27, from 7 to 10 p.m.

If you don’t want to volunteer, buy a ticket for Zoo Brew online or by calling 901-333-6767 or 901-333-6572. Tickets are $25 for Zoo members and $30 for non-members. About 3,000 tickets will be sold, and the event is expected to sell out.
