Fans of the Dos Equis ads featuring the “Most Interesting Man in the World” will appreciate this spoof that aired on Saturday Night Live.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays the “Son of the Most Interesting Man in the World” in a mock ad for “Tres Equis.”

“I don’t often drink beer, but when I do, I prefer Tres Equis,” Gordon-Levitt says.

“It’s one equis better than my dad’s beer, cause he was never there for me…”

Remember the “I Learned It By Watching You” anti-drug PSA from the 1980s, the one with the druggie father who confronts his son about his stash?

Well the guys over at the Cooper-Young Regional Beerfest drew inspiration from that bit of ’80s pop culture history, and produced this PSA for the third annual festival coming up Oct. 13. (Tickets are $35 in advance and are available online.)

Judging by all the indignant comments on YouTube, many homebrewers are offended by the new Buffalo Wild Wings ad that pokes fun at the hobby.

But, hey, we all have a friend who is always coming up with funky recipes like this guy. And it speaks volumes for the increasing popularity of the hobby that a national chain restaurant would take notice.

So relax, laugh and have a homebrew!

A 67-year-old Columbia, Tenn., man was jailed Saturday and accused of calling 911 at least nine times for non-emergency reasons, according to the Columbia Daily Herald.

Most of the calls were hang ups, but  police say Allen Troy Brooks called 911 and asked the dispatcher for a ride to get some beer. Brooks was arrested and charged with aggravated 911 calls in a non-emergency situation — a class A misdemeanor. He was later released on bond.

Here’s a partial transcript of the 911 call, taken from the video below by ABC News’ Nashville affiliate WKRN.

Caller: “Hey, you want to take me to the store?”

911 operator: “Want to take you to the store?”

Caller: “I want to go the store to get me a beer. I’ll pay you.”

911 operator: “OK. Sir. I can’t take you to the store to get a beer.”

Caller: “Yeah, you can come now.”

911 operator: “No sir, you’ve got 911.”

BUSTED. That’s a beer run fail.
