UPDATE:
Thanks to Matt Leff with Rhizome Productions Inc. for passing along some details. Rhizome Productions, which is based in Nashville and produces such events as the East Nashville Beer Fest, 12 South Winter Warmer, Dallas Winter Warmer, Brew at the Zoo-Nashville and Nashville Craft Beer Week, is putting on the Tupelo Craft Beer Festival.
The event will be Saturday, March 2, from noon to 5 p.m. at Veterans Park. Tickets will be for sale online soon and will cost $35; they’ll be $40 on the day of the event if tickets are still available. The event is limited to 1,000 guests.
With your ticket, you’ll get to sample over 80 American craft and Belgian import beers from 25+ breweries, and you’ll get a 6-oz. glass brandy snifter for tasting. There will be educational seminars and the opportunity to meet and talk to brewers and brewery reps.
Twenty-five percent of net proceeds will benefit a yet-to-be-determined local Tupelo charity.
