Save the date: ‘Learn to Homebrew Day’ coming to the Memphis Botanic Garden on Nov. 3
If you’ve ever wanted to learn to brew your own beer, an event in November can help get you started.
The Bluff City Brewers & Connoisseurs will host “Learn to Homebrew Day” on Nov. 3, from 12:30 to 4 p.m., at Memphis Botanic Garden. The event will feature a brewing demonstration and homebrew tasting, and club members will be on hand to answer questions and discuss topics including equipment, techniques, processing, ingredients and packaging.
The event is free with Botanic Garden admission and free for Bluff City Brewers members.
The American Homebrewers Association founded “Learn to Homebrew Day” in 1999 to introduce people to the hobby of homebrewing and to promote relationships with local homebrew shops. The event has since been held annually each November.
