Will run for Yazoo beer! Recap of the ‘Barely a 4K Beer Run’ in Memphis
About 50 runners (and craft beer lovers) converged on South of Beale Saturday morning to take part in Yazoo Brewing Company’s Barely a 4K Beer Run. The 2.5-mile course weaved through the streets of Downtown Memphis, ending back at South of Beale where a delicious keg of Yazoo Fall Lager awaited. Despite temperatures hovering in the upper 30s, we had a blast.

Yazoo plans to sponsor another run in Memphis soon, possibly in February. Be on the lookout for an announcement.

Awesome! Wish I could’ve been there, but you know the beer business never sleeps so I had to work. But I’m in for the February event.
1That Fall Lager was tasty…perfect post-run brew (though I probably should’ve eaten something before downing the second one!).
2I so hated to miss this event, but was out of town. I sure hope to see it again in the future!
